A big THANK YOU to all of you for your generous donations. This year's backpack project was a great success as we filled enough bags for each child at the shelter and in the outreach programs. Thanks go out to all the individuals who donated as well as Marc from DOM Sports and from Sanford Brands who donated two boxes filled with school supplies.
It was such a delight to put the bags together with the help of my children.
We plan to continue the project next year and keep our goal at 40 backpacks. If you know of any businesses who would be able to donate to the project please send me an email.
I'll keep the blog updated throughout the year and send out a reminder in May 2010.
