The Backpacks 101 Project 2016

We are ready to start collecting for the 2016 Backpacks 101 Project!
Consider starting a kindness project in your child's class. Make a goal to collect 25 packs of markers. Match a donation with your child. Take a collection at your next book club.
There are many ways you can make a difference with the Backpacks 101 Project.

Last year, we filled over 300 bags for children in Etobicoke. Since 2007, we have been able to fill and donate over 1000 backpacks.

Backpacks go to shelters and community centres in West Toronto including Women's Habitat, Ernestine's Women's Shelter, Youth Without Shelter and Black Creek Community Health Centre.

Items needed:
backpacks
markers
construction paper
pencil sharpeners
pencil cases
highlighters
combination locks
USB sticks
